Honda Malaysia has just rolled out the first 2026 Honda City Hatchback from its Melaka manufacturing plant ahead of the refreshed model’s official launch.

The Melaka manufacturing plant plays a vital role in supporting Hondaʼs operations while driving the development of the local automotive industry. To date, Honda Malaysia has partnered with approximately 500 local suppliers, forming a robust ecosystem that propels shared growth for both the brand and local businesses.

Since its introduction in 2021, the City Hatchback has recorded cumulative sales of more than 51,000 units. The new City Hatchback is set for market launch sharing the same revised front end design as the recently launched City Sedan.

Also new are the 16-inch two-tone alloy wheels, full width light bar LED DRL, projector LED headlamps, 10-inch touchscreen with wireless Apple CarPlay & Android Auto, 360-degree camera, Blind Sport Monitor and ambient lighting strip.

Despite the smaller 289L boot space compared to the City Sedan, the City Hatchback frees up extra space when you need it with the Ultra Seats.
