The ORA 5 has a claimed 0 – 100 km/h sprint time of 7.7 seconds and a total driving range of up to 1,000 km from its Hi2 intelligent hybrid technology.
Using a 2-speed DHT system, the ORA 5 HEV is able to deliver smooth and efficient drive at low speeds while maintaining punchy acceleration at higher speeds.

On the exterior front, the ORA 5 is essentially an SUV version of the EV-only ORA Good Cat with its smooth rounded design. While this design language might not be for everyone but the ORA 5 was awarded “Design of the Year” title at the 2025 London Design Awards.
Inside you’ll find a cabin layout similar to the WEY G9 flagship MPV, centred around a 14.6-inch touchscreen and a 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster.

Unique to the ORA 5 HEV among its segment competitors is the 3.2L rear cooling box to keep your drinks chilled.
The GWM ORA 5 HEV is expected for an official launch in November 2026 while bookings are now open at all authorised GWM dealerships nationwide.
