All-new third-generation Mazda CX-5 (KM) is now open for booking following its public debut at the KLIMS 2026 (Kuala Lumpur Mobility Show).

Sole 2.5L e-SKYACTIV MHEV option, 7.0L/100 km

Globally, the CX-5 (KM) is only available with one engine option. Hence Malaysia gets the 2.5L e-SKYACTIV that pairs a 4-cylinder petrol engine to a 24V mild hybrid system (6.5 PS/60.5 Nm). It pushes a combined output of 178 PS & 237 Nm paired to a 6-speed automatic transmission.

Bermaz Auto offers the CX-5 in a sole Front Wheel Drive option which means 0 – 100 km/h takes 10.5 seconds.

With cylinder deactivation technology & MHEV, the CX-5 returns a WLTP claimed fuel consumption of 7L/100 km.

Full-spec

Only 1 full spec variant is available and we get all the goodies available in the new CX-5.

At the heart of the new interior is a 15.6-inch touchscreen (12.9-inch for lower variants) that houses all the cars main functions including the climate control. It’s an Android-powered operating system with Google built-in that allows you to access Google Gemini, Google Maps and other apps available on Google Play store.

Equipment wise, the fully-imported CX-5 displayed here gets 19-inch alloys, heads up display, panoramic sunroof, brown & black combination interior.

Bigger, more spacious & practical than outgoing CX-5 (KF)

Compared to the outgoing model, the new-gen CX-5 dimensions are larger on all accounts:
