Mercedes-Benz 140 Years Celebration is taking place from May 30 to 31, 2026, the House of Mercedes-Benz at KLCC Square has transformed into an immersive automotive showcase. The event honors the 140th anniversary of Carl Benz filing his historic patent for the first automobile, following an epic trans-continental trek across six continents that kicked off from Stuttgart, Germany.

The Crown Jewel: The New Mercedes-Benz S-Class

The undisputed highlight of the Kuala Lumpur event is an exclusive first look at the highly anticipated new Mercedes-Benz S-Class. Meticulously re-engineered with over 50% new components, the brand’s flagship sedan introduces:

Celebrating Malaysia’s Historic Legacy

Malaysia holds a deeply strategic place in the global Mercedes-Benz family. The nation’s history with the brand stretches back over a century to the early 20th century, when the Sultan of Johor became one of the first individuals in Malaya to own a Mercedes-Benz.

Crucially, in 1983, Malaysia made history as the very first country outside of Germany to locally assemble the iconic S-Class (the 380 SE). This legacy of local excellence continues today at the Pekan production plant, which recently celebrated its 100,000th vehicle milestone and rolls out advanced electric models like the EQS 500 4MATIC.
