Perodua has just announced that prices for the Perodua Axia is now up to RM4,700 cheaper than before, effective immediately.
New prices for the Perodua Axia are as follow:

The new price revision is only applicable to the second-generation DNGA-based Axia. While the Axia ramah 5MT remains at RM22,000 as of writing. This also follows Perodua recent price revision of the Perodua QV-E that now starts from RM63,499 with BaaS package.
All specifications and quality standards for the Axia remain unchanged, with the cost savings derived entirely from process improvements and operational efficiencies.
“The revised pricing is the outcome of sustained, continuous improvement initiatives undertaken in close collaboration with our local suppliers and partners within the automotive ecosystem. “We thank them (vendors and dealers) for extending their full cooperation in enhancing cost efficiency for the collective benefit of the industry and, by extension, all Malaysians,” said Perodua President and Chief Executive Officer Dato’ Sri Zainal Abidin Ahmad.
To recap, the Axia is the most affordable compact car on sale in Malaysia. Powered by a 1.0L 3-cylinder VVT-i petrol engine paired to a D-CVT pushing out 68 PS & 91 Nm of torque.
