Built in Malaysia: The Rugged iCAUR 03 Electric SUV Goes CKD!

Following its successful import debut last September, the highly popular iCAUR 03 electric SUV is now officially being locally assembled (CKD) at the Chery Corporate Malaysia plant in Shah Alam.

Born from a collaboration between Chery and SmartMi Tech, this “Boxy Retro Classic” EV retains 100% of its global specifications while offering local EV buyers a more accessible price tag.

Power & Specs

The CKD model is offered exclusively in the top-tier Intelligent All Wheel Drive (iWD) variant:

  • Performance: Dual motors delivering 205 kW (279 PS) and 385 Nm of torque.

  • Range & Battery: A 69.8 kWh battery with an NEDC range of up to 418 km.

  • Charging: Supports 80 kW DC fast charging and features a 3.2 kW Vehicle-to-Load (V2L) system to power external devices.

Price, Perks & Availability

The locally assembled iCAUR 03 iWD is priced from RM 129,880 (On-the-road without insurance, Peninsular Malaysia).
